Found 10 Months Later, 50 Miles Away! - 6/23/2009
Feathers, a 1 year old male Pomeranian went missing in August 2008. The owner, then of Chicago, reported the him missing to HelpmefindMYPET, posted flyers in her neighborhood, and frantically searched her neighborhood. After 10 months she had given up hope of finding Feathers. She’d married and moved to Oak Lawn, IL and her last name had changed. No sign of Feathers had been found. This June, a good Samaritan found Feathers in Des Plains and took him to a local vet, who found his microchip number. She reported Feathers found to helpmefindMYPET, and they began searching for the owner.
